Los profesionales latinos brillan en las nominaciones a los Globos de Oro, anunciadas este lunes en Los Angeles. El narco musical francés de temática mexicana y hablado en español "Emilia Pérez" es el que acumula más candidaturas, diez en total. Figuras consagradas como Colman Domingo, Diego Luna, Sofía Vergara, Selena Gómez (en dos especialidades), Javier Bardem, Fernanda Torres, Zoe Saldaña y Liza Colón se unen a una casi recién llegada al cine como la española Karla Sofía Gascón.

Del equipo de "Emilia Pérez" han sido nominadas las ya citadas Gascón, Gómez y Saldaña, tres de sus actrices, junto al propio director y guionista, Jacques Audiard. La cinta es candidata además como mejor comedia / musical y mejor película en lengua no inglesa, y tiene dos de sus canciones, en español (aunque compuestas por franceses) entre las contendientes, "Mi camino" y "El mal".

El afrocaribeño Colman Domingo opta al premio a mejor actor dramático en cine por "Sing Sing" y la brasileña Fernanda Torres a mejor actriz dramática por la película "Ainda estou aqui". La británica Tilda Swinton ostenta la única nominación (actriz dramática) que ha recibido la cinta de Pedro Almodóvar "La habitación de al lado".

Ya en el apartado televisivo la realizada por la mexicana Issa López "True detective" está entre las mejores series limitadas o antológicas, en el rubro actoral encontramos a Selena Gómez (mejor actriz de comedia) por "Only Murders in the Building", a la colombiana Sofía Vergara (mejor actriz en serie limitada) por "Griselda", a la puertorriqueña Liza Colón (actriz de reparto) por "The Bear"), al mexicano Diego Luna (mejor actor de reparto) por "La maquina" y en la misma categoría al español Javier Bardem por "Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story".

Finalmente, el uruguayo Fede Alvarez dirigió una de las cintas de la categoría al mejor logro fílmico en taquilla, por "Alien: Romulus".
