Globos de Oro: Almodóvar, Isaac, Bardem, Miranda y Rodríguez encabezan amplia presencia hispana

La próxima edición de los Globos de Oro contará con una amplia representación hispana en sus diferentes secciones, tanto en rubros de actuación, realización y composición musical. Pedro Almodóvar opta a mejor película en lengua extranjera con "Madres paralelas". Su compatriota Javier Bardem es candidato a mejor actor en drama, por "Being the Ricardos". El descendiente de boricuas Lin-Manuel Miranda tiene doble opción, como director del musical "Tick, Tick … Boom!" y compositor de la canción "Dos oruguitas" de la película "Encanto". Por su parte, el guatemalteco Oscar Isaac está nominado a mejor actor en serie dramática por "Scenes de a Marriage".
En los rubros interpretativos encontramos también a Anthony Ramos, por "In the Heights", a Rachel Zegler por "West Side Story", a M.J. Rodríguez por "Pose" y a Ariana DeBose por "West Side Story".
Dos músicos latinos competirán entre sí en el apartado de banda sonora para película, el español Alberto Iglesias por "Madres paralelas" y la descendiente de mexicanos Germaine Franco por "Encanto".
Esta película animada, cuya acción se desarrolla en Colombia, compite en su apartado junto a "Raya and the last Dragon", codirigida por el mexicano Carlos López Estrada.

Por lo demás, encabezan las nominaciones en cine "Power of the Dog" y "Belfast", ambas con siete candidaturas, y en televisión "Succession", con cinco.
La 79 edición de los premios anuales de la asociación de la prensa extranjera en Hollywood aspira a iniciar radicales cambios. Algunos medios y figuras de la industria acusaron a la HFPA (por sus siglas en inglés) de no ser suficientemente diversa en términos raciales. Como consecuencia de ello, muchos que antes disfrutaron de los premios y atenciones de sus miembros le dieron la espalda. La NBC, que retransmitía la gala, decidió cancelar su acuerdo con la asociación, y aún no está claro si se podrá ver en otro canal. Mientras, esta ha llevado a cabo importantes cambios en favor de la diversidad, y las candidaturas de este año los demuestran.
